Just Another Manic Monday ... with more than enough time for some blogging.

How very exciting to see that someone in Germany and someone in Malaysia has stumbled upon my ramblings! I wish I could figure out how to publish the 'activity map' on this page, but alas - my blogging skills are limited at best and therefore I am trapped within Google Bloggers walls. Maybe someone reading this might be able to help? Even though I know at this stage there isn't really anyone reading this. Still, I shall press on and hope that at some stage I will manage a piece of writing so impressively magnificent that it will be read by people the world over.
Then I'll be offered some wonderful journalism position and everything will seem dreamy until the hazy days spent at a boardroom table with other one hit wonders snorting piles of cocaine result in nothing but yelled affirmations of our own greatness followed by the inevitable demise of each and every career around that table. Except the cocaine, that will continue to have a long and prosperous career, enjoyed by many.

In the meantime, I shall continue my List Of Things I Like as well as further rambling about What I'm Thinking. This is a ridiculously fast flowing stream of consciousness that often becomes a fury of white water drawing in unwitting bystanders until it comes crashing down in a waterfall and I rest in a inner tube watching the overwhelmed expressions of those around me as they wonder how I and indeed we got to where we are now. Sometimes I blurt out a thought from apparently nowhere and have quite a lot of fun tracing it back to its origins when someone twists their face in to a look of disgust or concern (for I have often teetered very close to the edge of the acceptable cliff with the blurted comment) and they ask where the eff did that come from? I'm keeping it clean in case some impressionable youths happen to find this inane nonsense. Apart from the cocaine bit, but they shouldn't know what that is anyway and if they ask their parents can just lie.

Goodness, and would you believe it, dear no-one, I just won a competition!! How terribly exciting. I certainly hope all my good luck is simply building up to and not about to run out when I have a job interview later on this week! However, my winnings - two double passes to a hockey game this week! There are altogether too many exclamation marks in that paragraph but I am quite pleased with this result. I love ice hockey after spending quite a bit of time in Montreal, QC. It isn't quite the same here in Melbourne, but still fun to watch (even if they don't have popcorn for sale. I might take my own I think).

I also have a job interview this week which I am extremely hopeful about. I just hope I didn't use all my good luck  (yes, I am illogical enough to believe that the universe might work like this) on my big win... I shall keep you informed, whoever You are.
